Fire Fan & Poi Classes with Claire de Luxe: Spring 2014 Session
Foundations of poi continue! We build upon our poi vocabulary, focusing on reels, stalls, and transitions to link everything into a coherent whole.
We begin to look at flowers, pendulums, more stalls, and sequences that create new patterns.
More fun tricks, concepts, and combos for this open-level class. Appropriate for intermediate spinners who pick up new moves with relative ease.
Open-Level Fire Fan Tech and Transitions:
This class will focus on modern fan technique and tricks as well as sequences that link different moves together. Transitions will be a focal point for intermediate spinners, whereas beginners will focus more on learning the moves to lay foundations—but transitions (and variations) will be provided for all.
(Poi 1 returns in the summer!)
The next series of poi and fans classes begins e week of March 17. This series includes nine studio classes and one fire class where you will light up under supervision (at a separate location).
