1. Stuff To Do Is All New!

No excuse to stay home ever. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times -- this is New York City, baby! Entertainment capital of the world. Need some ideas? Check it out.
(and don't forget to post a review on the message board after you go).

New York Goofs in Clown Brain

Usually smart clown theater featuring lots of people you might recognize. The Goofs are opening a new show at the Flea Theater on Oct. 24th running through November 17th. It's called "Clown Brain", and we are very excited and want you all to check it out. Sooooo, if you can come the first week, we are offering 2 for 1 tickets to all our crazy constituents. You can find out more about the show and tickets on the website - www.nygoofs.com. Or, go to smarttix.com. When purchasing a ticket it will ask for a discount code. The code is - 241 - and will be good for any performance on the first week. (Oct. 24-27)

3. El Magnifico!!! Two New York Venues

I can't speak for Slammin' or Bill Berry, but when we saw El Magnifico at Lily Lipid's Open Mic, I almost peed my pants it was so funny. Who knows what he'll do for a full show, but he's got a lot of secret skills hidden up those oh-so-long sleeves. See Jamy Ian Swiss at Rainbow Room and compare and contrast.

The listing is too long, so email Viveca if you want more info.

Highly recommended.

4. Cornell Big Red JuggleFest

I'll probably be tied up with family stuff (again), but feel free to email (Viveca) if you want help coordinating rides, etc. I'm happy to be the clearinghouse (as long as you send the post-fest high, low, goal, crush, bane).
Hey there-as President of the Cornell Juggling Club, let me update anyone interested in attending the 6th Annual Big Red JuggleFest. As Greg mentioned, the festival is the weekend of November 15-17, 2002. It starts Friday evening, goes all day Saturday, and then 'til early afternoon on Sunday. Saturday will include tons of juggling in an enormous indoor athletic practice room; there will be contests, workshops, raffles, vendors, t-shirts, and lots of friendly jugglers having a great time. Our show Saturday night will include the one and only Michael Menes and Bruce McKenzie Johnson of New Wave Vaudeville! http://www.newwavevaudeville.com The show will be at the State Theatre in Ithaca, NY. For more details check out the Cornell Juggling Club website at http://lemur.cit.cornell.edu/jugglers/

Please feel free to email me with any questions! Hope to see lots of you there.
