April 15, 2002

Hey Crew, Thanks to everyone for all the great work on Juggle This! I'm still in afterglow or post-partum depression or something, and the whole thing seems like a blur, but the reports sound good. I guess it was a success. We broke even (whoo-hoo!), and apparently the show went okay (I'm still waiting to see it on video, because I didn't get to watch much from backstage).

I'm leaving town for a bit and may not have e-mail. Hold down the fort. Keep up the balls.

Back to the day-to-day juggle, and here's the latest:

  1. Carmine Street closed until May 10. Alternate space is available.
  2. Pratt juggling club open to public on Tuesdays in Student Union.
  3. Juggle This! souvenirs still available.
  4. DC Fest coming up soon -- who's game?
  5. Coney Island offering sideshow school.
  6. (continuing) Last two weeks of Bindlestiff Family Cirkus.
  7. Wanted: magic/clowning instructor.
  8. Studio space available
  9. Miscellaneous -- magic, physical theater, pop-up menopause, improv

1. 1. Carmine Street closed until May 10.
Alternate space is available. Do not go to Carmine to juggle until after May 10, and given how well they keep to their schedules, I'd recommend calling even then. Big thanks and kudos to Janet for arranging alternate space:

2. Pratt juggling club open to public on Tuesdays in Student Union.
Another option is to juggle at Pratt now that you all know where it is. Juggling every Tuesday night in the Student Union (not the gym -- get to campus and ask) from 8:00 until about 10:30 p.m.

9.Miscellaneous -- magic, physical theater, pop-up menopause, improv.
I'm getting a lot of off-topic recommendations. I don't want to clog the juggling list, but if you would like info on a new magic publication, a hot clown show, a pop-up book about menopause, or a new improv troupe, just let me know! (Yes, I know some of the rest of it could be considered off topic, but I calls it like I sees it.)
