Cigar boxes are one of the rarest sights on a circus stage. A unique combination of lower body work, aerobics, and traditional juggling. Come and learn this classic of vaudeville with Doug Stafford, a circus artist based out of the Philadelphia area, well known for his work with these terrific and underused props. This class will focus on basic three-box manipulation including center steals, end steals, and basic box turns and movement incorporating the legs and focusing on using the hips as the power behind cigar box juggling.
Contact Juggling 101: The Goblin King
If you don't know what contact juggling is, I have one name for you: The Goblin King. Michael Moschen gave birth to an art form that has spread far and wide. Combine optical illusion and object manipulation to create a circus form that is truly magic to behold. From butterflies, to stalls, intro to contact juggling will gave you a head start on creating your own magic.
