Big Apple Circus Seeks Camp Instructors

Circus Summer Camp Instructors (NYC)
The Big Apple Circus is looking for skilled circus instructors for
possible summer camp in New York City. Camp is contingent on grant
funding, if received the day camp will run Monday–Friday, July
and August 2009.
Instructors must be skilled in at least one of the following areas:
Acrobatics/gymnastics, juggling, clowning, and/or aerial and ideally
have experience teaching children.
Campers are economically disadvantaged middle school aged New York
City children who will learn life-enhancing skills such as teamwork,
trust, commitment, and responsible risk taking through a structured
program of learning and performing circus arts.
Please only send resumes and cover letters if applying for summer
camp instructor position. Resumes for other positions at the Big
Apple Circus will not be reviewed.
When:
Monday–Friday day camp
July–August 2009
