National Psoriasis Foundation Walk for Awareness
The National Psoriasis Walk for Awareness is a nationwide program
designed to generate awareness about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis
and raise money for National Psoriasis Foundation education, advocacy,
and research programs. In our first year, we raised more than
$500,000, and we look forward to generating even more funds and
awareness in 2008. Join us!
This event will be taking place in New York's Bronx Zoo on Sunday, May
18th. Because of the nature of the venue, we are anticipating many
children at this year's walk, including a Cub Scout group! As a
result, we are looking for entertainment for the children. With all
this said, I would like you to consider joining us on the day of our
event to encourage a positive atmosphere and lift the spirits of those
suffering from psoriasis. You will be recognized in various ways on
the day of the event and you are welcome to bring promotional material
for distribution.
