"The little trick of getting three objects to dance around in your hands has always managed to keep a small sense of magic...It's one form of insanity we feel everyone has a right to experience."

Visitors:
NYC Parks & Rec. policy is that visitors are welcome but may not engage in Center activities, including juggling. If you would like to juggle when you visit, please email your request 24 hours before you wish to attend. Visitors are expected to follow all gym rules (bring a lock!). This is a privilege for out-of-town visitors who would not be able to take advantage of membership. If you are a local juggler, you may visit once to check out the club before committing to membership, but then you will be expected to join. You'll want to anyway. It's worth it.

Notes:
  • All clubs open to the public, all levels welcome
  • Clubs are not classes or formal groups, rather places for people who share a common interest to get together and practice.
  • That said, most people are happy to teach newcomers how to juggle, explain tricks, and give pointers, but then you'll be expected to go work on them yourself.
  • Bring your own props if you have them. If you don't, please ask before borrowing anything you see lying around, but many people are willing, when asked, to lend visitors props they're not using at the time.
  • That said, don't count on using other people's stuff too long. Soon you'll need to buy your own equipment.
  • Finally, many jugglers ignore each other (and you) while practicing. We're not mean; we're busy. Feel free to introduce yourself, but please respect other people's practice time. We usually go out to dinner to socialize after the Thursday meeting, and all jugglers are invited.
That said, hope to see you there.
